Cerny has been the radio play-by-play broadcaster for the New York Islanders and sportswriter with The New York Times; digital content producer/beat reporter for the New York Rangers and talk-show host on Sirius-XM; managing editor at Sporting News and assistant general manager of the Newark Bears; Yahoo Sports writer and Voice for two minor league baseball teams.
Currently, he is managing editor with NHL.com and broadcaster/content creator for the Danbury Hat Tricks minor league hockey team.
Cerny has covered the NHL, MLB, NFL and NBA, as well as major tennis and golf tournaments and championship boxing matches. He has worked alongside Kenny Albert, Kevin Burkhardt, Don Lagreca, Chris King, Joe Tolleson and Jared Greenberg in the broadcast booth.
